We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time Escrow Assistant to oversee all aspects of title closings. This person will play a key position on a supportive team where they can truly shine. This is a unique and powerful employment opportunity for the right person.

We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, wants to grow with our company fast, wants to become an Escrow Officer eventually, has superior organizational skills, is a self starter and can self govern and self motivate. This is open to someone brand new to title and open to someone with some title experience but wants to be with an office where there are no limits to advancement.

We work hard. We work long hours. Anyone working like this will be compensated with a salary and aggressive bonus plan. Raises for superstars are frequent and not based on any calendar event like an annual anniversary. Many, if not most, joining our team have received bonuses well before being with our office for two months. To reiterate, this is NOT an opportunity for someone looking to coast. This is for someone with motivation to hit the ground running, someone wanting to take on a challenge, and someone willing to sacrifice to advance their career on a fast track.

Preferred Responsibilities

• Some knowledge of front, middle and back end of escrow.

• Complete funding tasks such as and ensuring all funds are disbursed accurately

• Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts

• Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders

• Adhere to all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement and monitor progress of all assigned files

• Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers.

• Ensure all terms and conditions of the assigned closing tasks are being completed timely and accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required — work experience or college degree preferred

• 2+ years of real estate closing escrow transactions experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial

• Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must

• Solid knowledge of title insurance and the escrow process

• Possess some understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, and real estate contracts

• Compensation

• $40,000 - $60,000 + Yearly based on experience
